We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing excellent customer service to staff regarding payroll inquiries. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $30-$34/hr.
Responsibilities:
· Process biweekly or semi-monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
· Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay or deductions.
· Review and reconcile payroll reports, timecards, and benefit deductions.
· Ensure accurate reporting and payment of payroll taxes and other deductions.
· Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure proper accounting and data integrity.
· Prepare and distribute W-2s, 1099s, and other year-end tax forms.
· Respond promptly to employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and deductions.
· Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications:
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
· 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state or large organization setting.
· Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, Ceridian, or similar).
· Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
