Job Description

Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Urbana, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to work at a leading healthcare facility while exploring the charming city of Urbana.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiograms and other related cardiac diagnostic procedures.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
Assess and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory guidelines.
Stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in echocardiography.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Echo Tech.
Certification: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) required.
Licensure: Valid Illinois state licensure as applicable.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Skills: Proficient in echocardiography, with stg attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills.
