Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support K-12 students at a Washington, DC school for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers consistent hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM on a single campus, providing an excellent opportunity to deliver quality speech and language services in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, evaluations, and individualized therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress and communication goals
- Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions and student progress
- Adhere to all confidentiality, legal, and ethical guidelines while working within the school environment
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage students and collaborate with school staff
- Ability to start as soon as possible and maintain on-campus hours (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
This position does not involve voice-over communication (VOCO) duties. The role offers the chance to work closely with an inclusive school community dedicated to supporting student success.
