Our client is a biotechnology/medical device company. Their innovative products help pharmaceutical and biotech companies bring breakthrough medicines to market faster and more safely. They are looking to add a Quality Control Inspector to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr - 24/hr DOE
Position Overview:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards. You will inspect materials and products throughout the manufacturing process, help identify and report issues, and support continuous improvement across teams. The day shift schedule is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector:
- Inspecting incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and final products.
- Reviewing documentation and ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
- Reporting and documenting nonconformances (NCRs).
- Supporting investigations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Performing inspections before and after gamma irradiation.
- Preparing quality metrics and reports.
- Occasionally working across nearby facilities (within 2 miles).
Required Experience/Skills for the Quality Control Inspector:
- 2+ years of experience in quality control inspections.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO 9001/13485, and FDA regulations (21 CFR Parts 210, 211, or 820).
- Knowledge of good documentation practices in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Quality Control Inspector:
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to use general math, measuring tools like calipers, rulers, and gauges.
- A mindset focused on quality, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
