Role Overview: A Territory Manager in the oil and gas industry plays a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining customer relationships within a specific geographic region.
Job Summary: The Territory Manager will manage and grow the customer base, maintain strong relationships with existing customers, and create new business opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of the industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts in the oil and gas sector.
- Develop new business to expand the customer base and increase sales.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors.
- Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Sales Activities: Attend events, entertain clients, and follow up for feedback on sales experiences.
- Training: Create training presentations for new hires.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, identify potential clients, and generate leads.
- Sales Reporting: Report on sales activity and manage workload efficiently.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.

Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of three-plus years of experience as a Territory Manager in the oil and gas sector.
Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Willingness to travel as required.
Sales Skills:
Strong sales acumen and ability to meet targets.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with pump products in the oil and gas industry.
Communication: Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing markets and consumer trends.
Education and Experience:
At least three to five years of related experience required.
Work Environment:
This job operates in an outside sales environment, with most travel being done daily by vehicle. Long periods of sitting in a motor vehicle can be expected. This position is remote with an in-office option.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to travel.
Travel.
The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing as necessary. Extensive driving is required for business-necessary travel.
