Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to provide vocational services in a K-12 setting in Henniker, New Hampshire. This contract position offers a focused role delivering direct services to students, including case management responsibilities, within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing approximately 12 hours of weekly vocational special education services
- Delivering 5 hours of direct instruction to one student, with the potential addition of another student requiring similar support
- Managing 2 hours weekly for preparation and case management duties
- Collaborating with educational teams to ensure individualized student goals are met
- Maintaining compliance with state special education standards and documentation requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education licensure for the state of New Hampshire
- Extensive experience in vocational special education (VOCO SPED) settings
- Strong case management skills and ability to develop tailored instructional plans
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with school staff and families
- Commitment to supporting student development through customized services
