Job DescriptionSMI Case Manager (Temporary) - Behavioral Health | $19-$25/hr Location: Arizona (Phoenix Metro Area) Job Type: Temporary Assignment Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour (based on education and experience) A well-established behavioral health provider in Arizona is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented SMI Case Manager for a temporary assignment. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and helping them achieve stability, independence, and long-term wellness. As a third-party recruiting partner, we are actively connecting qualified candidates with this opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community. Key Responsibilities
- Provide case management services to individuals diagnosed with SMI
- Complete assessments, individualized service plans, and ongoing progress updates
- Coordinate care with clinical teams, providers, and community resources
- Assist clients with accessing housing, healthcare, employment, and social services
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
- Support crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed
- Advocate for client needs while promoting independence and recovery
Qualifications
- Experience working in behavioral health, case management, or social services required
- Prior experience supporting SMI populations strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of community resources within Arizona is a plus
