Job Description
The Client Account Manager performs a wide range of general duties in support of the department’s daily operations. The primary focus is on managing the military aftermarket business for assigned client/manufacturer accounts. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities
The Client Account Manager is responsible for:
- The oversight of assigned client accounts
- Communicating with customers and client-manufacturers
- Reviewing customer requisitions/solicitations.
- Entering/checking customer orders and purchase orders
- Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel throughout clients’ organizations
- Generate various reports for both client and internal purposes
- Consult with clients regarding business decisions for their military aftermarket sales
- Other duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and training
- Minimum of two (2) years of previous office experience
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
Knowledge/Skills
- Previous account management experience
- Acute attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral presentation
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to gather and analyze data
- Competent computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize and manage work to meet deadlines and other time-sensitive requirements
