Job Description

The Client Account Manager performs a wide range of general duties in support of the department’s daily operations. The primary focus is on managing the military aftermarket business for assigned client/manufacturer accounts. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

The Client Account Manager is responsible for:

  • The oversight of assigned client accounts
  • Communicating with customers and client-manufacturers
  • Reviewing customer requisitions/solicitations.
  • Entering/checking customer orders and purchase orders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel throughout clients’ organizations
  • Generate various reports for both client and internal purposes
  • Consult with clients regarding business decisions for their military aftermarket sales
  • Other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and training

  • Minimum of two (2) years of previous office experience
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required

Knowledge/Skills

  • Previous account management experience
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral presentation
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to gather and analyze data
  • Competent computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to meet deadlines and other time-sensitive requirements
