We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician to join our Production team. This role is responsible for calibrating, testing, troubleshooting, and preparing precision laboratory instrumentation for shipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow established procedures and work instructions to calibrate, test, and verify performance of laboratory instruments.
- Perform system-level testing and ensure products meet quality and performance standards prior to shipment.
- Conduct first-level troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Support production activities including mechanical and parts assembly as required.
- Document test results, calibration data, and process findings accurately.
- Participate in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and process optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a technical manufacturing, calibration, or production environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Electronics, Chemistry, or related discipline) or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with basic understanding of statistical methods and testing techniques.
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable working with computers and standard office software (Microsoft Office or similar tools).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with calibration and testing of laboratory or automation equipment.
- Familiarity with centrifuges, plate readers, liquid handling systems, or similar laboratory instrumentation.
- Exposure to chemistry-based instrumentation or precision fluid handling systems.
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments.
