Position Overview
The Senior Travel Advisor is a key member of our luxury travel team, responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with high-value clients and premier industry partners across hospitality, private aviation, and yachting.
This role blends strategic sales, exceptional client service, and hands-on partner engagement.
In addition to managing a portfolio of clients, the Senior Travel Advisor will represent the company at international travel trade shows, yacht and aviation expos, and on-site partner meetings, strengthening our position in the global luxury travel market.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of high-end leisure clients.
- Conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients’ travel preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget expectations.
- Design highly customized itineraries, integrating private jets, luxury yacht charters, exclusive villas, and top-tier hotel experiences.
- Proactively monitor client satisfaction through post-travel follow-ups and feedback analysis to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
2. Partner & Supplier Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury hotels, resorts, private villa providers, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), yacht charter companies, and private aviation operators.
- Negotiate preferred rates, value-added amenities, and unique experiences to differentiate our offerings.
- Represent the company at international conferences, luxury travel shows, yacht and aviation events, and DMC-hosted trade forums to network, source new products, and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaborate with hotel brands, DMCs, yacht brokers, and aviation providers on joint marketing campaigns, co-branded events, and bespoke client experiences.
3. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our client base, including HNWIs, corporate incentive groups, and specialty markets (e.g., expedition cruising, private-island escapes).
- Prepare detailed proposals and presentations for prospective clients and partners that integrate multi-modal luxury travel solutions (air, land, and sea).
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue, margin, and client growth targets.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports in the company’s CRM system.
4. Strategic Planning & Market Insights
- Provide regular competitive analysis, industry updates, and market trend reports covering luxury hospitality, yacht chartering, private aviation, and destination management.
- Contribute to the development of new luxury products and curated packages that integrate private jet and yacht experiences.
5. Internal Collaboration
- Partner closely with travel designers, reservation specialists, and operations staff to ensure seamless delivery of complex, multi-sector travel arrangements.
- Collaborate with marketing on promotional materials, social media campaigns, and content that highlights new destinations or yacht/aviation/DMC partnerships.
- Share insights with the product development team to refine and expand our high-end travel offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3–5+ years of experience as a luxury travel advisor, or in sales/account management within luxury travel, hospitality, private aviation, yacht charter services, or destination management.
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding revenue goals and cultivating high-value client relationships.
- Deep knowledge of global luxury hospitality brands, yacht charter networks, private jet operators, and DMC ecosystems.
- Familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Apollo is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- High Proficiency in Google Workspace (GSuite, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Calendar and Gmail)
- Experience in Canva and Adobe PDF
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time for conferences, site inspections, yacht/aviation shows, and partner meetings.
