The individual in this position will be responsible for handling, storing, transferring, and transporting chemical materials used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role requires operating equipment in a controlled environment, similar to a clean room, to mix, batch, or reduce bulk products to smaller packaged units. The operator will need to adjust equipment settings for batch sizes, temperatures, and run times, while adhering to specific SOPs and work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to mix, blend, and package chemical materials.
- Adjust equipment according to batch sizes, temperatures, and run times.
- Follow SOPs and work instructions to perform job functions.
- Complete routine maintenance on equipment.
- Record operating data, test results, and instrument readings.
- Handle shipping and receiving paperwork.
- Maintain plant data sheets, environmental reports, inventory sheets, and inspection reports.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience working in manufacturing within a production environment.
- 1+ year of experience in a GMP environment such as food, chemical, or medical sectors.
- Experience working with work orders for at least 1 year.
- Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 75lbs.
- Solid computer skills including typing, emailing, and using shipping software/inventory systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a medical, chemical, or food environment completing mixing/weighing of product or material.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and requires full gowning to blend products. Though the area is smaller, it is comfortable, well-lit, and conducive to productivity. The shift is from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
