Job DescriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Special Education Teacher - Full Time On-site position - Denver Area, CO
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time school-based contract openings in the Denver Area, Colorado for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. Multiple openings are available due to new classroom expansions.
Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support students in academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional skill development
Requirements:
• Active Colorado Department of Education Certification with proper Special Education endorsements
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Prior experience working with Autism populations in a school district required
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate within a school team
• Must complete district background check and fingerprinting requirements
