Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Auditing Clerk to join our team in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong public accounting experience and excellent communication skills. The role involves both in-office and client-site work, offering a dynamic environment for growth and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Perform auditing tasks, which will constitute approximately 80% of the workload.
• Assist with minor tax-related assignments as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to create and manage basic spreadsheets.
• Work in both office settings and client locations to meet project requirements.
• Apply public accounting knowledge to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Maintain a detail-oriented approach while interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively to address questions, provide updates, and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and procedures.• Minimum of 1 year of public accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for basic spreadsheet tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a detail-oriented environment and interact effectively with clients.
• Experience in auditing processes and practices.
• Familiarity with tax audits and related tasks.
• Willingness to work on-site at both office and client locations.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data.
