NorthStar Maintenance Group, LLC is looking for a Janitorial worker to join our team. The Janitorial worker will use a ride-on floor scrubber to clean and scrub the floors out in the plant. The worker will also be responsible for cleaning and emptying out the machine after each use daily.

The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday mornings from 1:30AM to 6:30AM. Must be very dependable!

Responsibilities:

• Clean – Use the ride-on floor scrubber to scrub the floors. You must drive at an appropriate speed and adhere to all safety protocols. The floor scrubber must be driven for 4 hours each night, scrubbing and cleaning the floors out in the plant.
• Empty – After running the machine for 4 hours, it must be emptied of all water from both tanks and properly rinsed and cleaned out.
• Maintain – Check to ensure all brushes and squeegees are in good condition and working properly. Make sure there are no leaks and the water is being suctioned off the floor. If there are any issues or concerns, notify your supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
• Must be able to sit/drive machine for long periods of time
• Experience with floor scrubber and/or cleaning equipment is preferred
