Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference supporting K-12 students as an experienced school psychologist in a dynamic environment near Buffalo Grove, IL. This contract position involves collaborating with an Early Childhood Assessment Team and working across multiple elementary school buildings. The caseload varies, providing diverse opportunities to support students with a wide range of needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois school psychologist credentials (IL PSYCH Creds)
  • Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and facilitating student support services
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of various evaluation tools and best practices in K-12 school psychology
  • Adaptability to serve students across early childhood through elementary settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychoeducational evaluations and participate in the special education assessment process
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Support the Early Childhood Assessment Team for thorough and timely student evaluations
  • Serve multiple buildings as needed, addressing the unique needs of each school community
  • Help design and monitor student plans, support IEP and 504 processes, and provide counseling or crisis interventions when necessary
