Job Description:
The Vice President of Sales will lead the company’s commercial strategy, driving revenue growth across key markets including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and integrated care organizations. This executive will oversee national channel partners and in-house sales teams, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure alignment with product development and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with corporate goals and market opportunities.
- Lead and mentor in-house sales teammates as well as strategic channel partners.
- Drive new business development and expand existing customer relationships across multiple channels.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and clinical teams to support marketing strategies and client engagement.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
- Establish and track KPIs for sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the medical device or healthcare technology sector.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling commercial operations.
- Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement, especially Medicare Advantage and value-based care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Frequent travel (~50%) is anticipated for this position.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience launching new products and entering emerging markets.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and data-driven sales management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary of $150,000 on an annualized basis
- Commissions as a percent of completed sales
- Bonus eligibility for realizing annual as well as longer term strategic objectives
- 3 weeks of vacation per calendar year
- Eligibility to participate in Company 401K plan and any other benefits the Company may adopt
- Reimbursement of all authorized business expenses
