Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity El Dorado County, CA (Multiple Locations)

A dynamic contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within El Dorado County, covering various school sites ranging from El Dorado Hills to Camino. This role supports the 2026/2027 school year with a potential itinerant assignment, offering a rewarding chance to work across multiple locations within the district. Candidates must be comfortable with travel and flexible regarding changing assignments throughout the semester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to students with mild to moderate caseloads, with occasional severe cases
  • Deliver onsite support and supervision to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) if applicable
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student development and progress
  • Manage caseloads effectively across different school locations in the district
  • Maintain compliance with California licensure and school-specific requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California SLP license required
  • Experience in school settings and familiarity with Special Education Information System (SEIS) preferred
  • Willingness to travel to multiple school sites across El Dorado County, including El Dorado Hills and Camino
  • Open to itinerant positions with a flexible and adaptable mindset
  • Prior experience supervising CFs or SLPAs is a plus

Location:Positions are based onsite within El Dorado County schools. Travel within the district is expected, with Lake Tahoe approximately 1.5 hours east and Sacramento 45 minutes west.
