Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Wilkes Barre, PA area to support school-based services. This role involves a unique opportunity to cover maternity leave assignments in Lackawanna County initially and then serve itinerant students in the Dunmore, PA area during the spring season. The contract runs through August 7, 2026, with a start date as soon as possible. Part-time candidates will also be considered.

Location: Wilkes Barre, PA area (on-site assignments in Lackawanna County and Dunmore)

Position Type: Contract, Full-Time (35 hours/week) with flexible part-time consideration
Duration: Immediate start through August 7, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to students in school settings
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
  • Manage caseload involving itinerant student support and maternity leave coverage
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure
  • Demonstrated school-based experience
  • Must be able to obtain and complete required Pennsylvania clearances
  • Reliable transportation is essential for on-site travel between locations
  • Comfortable with Zoom interviews
