As the Director of Distribution, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our distribution operations, ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products from the warehouse to customers or other destinations. This leadership role requires strategic planning, operational expertise, and strong team management skills to optimize distribution processes, minimize costs, and meet customer service goals.
Schedule:
- Shift 1: Day Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Shift 2: Evening Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Shift 3: Night Shift (8 hours) - Sunday to Thursday: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Essential Duties
Manage
- Provide leadership and guidance to the distribution team, including supervisors and warehouse associates. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, and provide training and development opportunities to support team growth.
- Coordinate with logistics partners/carriers to arrange transportation and delivery to customers. Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Manage all finished goods warehouse operations related to accurate and timely receipt from Production, Storage, and Pick/Pack/Ship of all finished goods in the facility.
- Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor department KPIs weekly and implement improvement actions as needed to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Management the time and attendance of staff, including presence, overtime, task allocation.
- Maximize efficiency and minimize labor and other operational costs. Collaborate and integrate skillset with the Components team to occasionally flex labor pool to adapt to requirements of the activity.
Shape future performance
- Within the plant’s overall objectives and key results expectations (OKRs), adapt existing and establish new key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of the distribution department.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and enhanced customer service within the distribution network.
- Propose and implement strategic plans and objectives for the distribution department.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in distribution management, warehouse operations, or supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of distribution processes, transportation logistics, and inventory management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software within Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP), and other relevant technology platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
