About the Job:
Expands VOANS PACE portfolio to achieve organizational goals. Assures financial viability of new programs can be achieved and sustained. Supports PACE Executive Directors in work with State PACE Associations and legislative outreach.
Essentials:
- Under the direction of the RVP, PACE Operations and the authority of the VOANS Program and Finance Committees, manages PACE development including feasibility studies, development of financial proformas, writing and submitting solicitation responses, submitting Letters of Intent, creating, managing and implementing work plans, developing PACE CMS applications, responding to Requests for Additional Information, facilitating Readiness Reviews, developing PACE Centers, managing lobbyist contracts, costs and relationships, overseeing provider network development, complying with state and local licensing requirements and overseeing program implementation through the initial audit period (3 years).
- Support PACE Organization leadership in team development as directed by the RVP, PACE Operations.
- Maintains the stability and reputation of VOA/VOANS and the Senior CommUnity Care brand by ensuring all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Establishes and maintains a productive working relationship with relevant associations, legislators, PACE Organization co-sponsors and other external parties.
- Is responsible for adherence to program cultural standards including supporting the development and integration of these standards within the team through modeling, coaching, and accountability.
- Follows and ensures organizational policies and procedures and CDC and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety guidelines.
- Protects proprietary information, the privacy and confidentiality of all company procedures, results and information about employees, participants and families.
- Participates in continuing education classes and any required staff and training meetings. Maintains professional affiliations and any required certifications.
- Performs other duties as required or requested.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
- Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations after having direct participant contact.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Nursing, Social Work or related degree from an accredited school required. 10 years of relevant experience will substitute for required education.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ PACE experience in an operational PACE Organization or in the development of RFP responses, proforma development, CMS application development and submission and coordination of various licensing of PACE functions required in different states. A minimum of 1 year working with frail or elderly population required.
