M-Th 5:30am-4:00pm (Friday would be OT when permitted)
1st Shift Production Machine Operators.
The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing environment, specifically on punch presses, turrets, lasers, or press brakes. This position requires someone who can work from complex drawings, prints, and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Operate punch press equipment, including coil or sheet fed presses and drill presses, to produce metal parts.
- Work from work orders and prints, using shop calculations and math to ensure proper types, quantities, and quality of parts are produced.
- Perform basic machine setup.
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts before and during production runs.
- Monitor machines for proper operation at all times.
- Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during a shift.
- Keep your work area clean and orderly.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with punch presses, turrets, lasers, or press brakes.
- Proficient in advanced shop mathematics.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English or communicate effectively in a plant environment.
- Strong attention to detail and mental alertness to prevent injury.
Pay:
- $22-$29 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
