Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An elementary school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher with a Severe and Profound license to support students with significant disabilities. This contract position for the current school year offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing educational environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with severe and profound disabilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, and classroom teachers to support student learning and development
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and school staff
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional growth
Qualifications:
- Valid Severe and Profound Special Education teaching license required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students with significant disabilities preferred
- Strong understanding of special education laws, best practices, and IEP development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
