School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist – 2026/2027 Academic Year

A welcoming school district in the Chesterfield, VA area is now hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about working with students to improve communication, language, and social skills in a supportive educational setting. Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Provide direct therapy services to students across a K-12 caseload

Experience:

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Virginia Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Licensing assistance available for candidates needing state certification
