Training + Adoption Specialist
Job Description
Job Description
TRCTalent seeks a Training & Adoption Specialist with a growing healthcare organization for a contract to hire role. This firm is a premier, rapidly expanding physical therapy and outpatient rehabilitation enterprise. They are currently launching a massive, highly confidential clinical quality and workflow optimization project designed to completely transform the patient journey—from initial referral to the completion of their care plan. Candidate must live in Atlanta or Charlotte; 25% travel requirement between both cities.
Role Overview: We are seeking a Training & Adoption Specialist to ensure that newly implemented Epic workflows actually stick. This role is not about classroom training; it is about post-go-live verification. You will travel to regional clinics to conduct spot checks, gather feedback, and monitor ticket trends to ensure providers are successfully adopting new standard practices and system configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
Close the loop after initial clinic go-lives by tracking user adoption, monitoring workflow adherence, and providing on-the-ground support.
Build and execute follow-up mechanisms, including post-training pulse surveys, workflow spot checks, and helpdesk ticket trend analysis.
Work directly with providers in real-time to optimize their documentation efficiency (e.g., creating smart phrases) and ensure standard workflows are followed.
Travel to regional clinics (initially heavily focused in Georgia and Charlotte) for site visits and localized customization sessions.
What You Bring:
1+ years of experience in clinical IT support, training, or a highly relevant internship within a healthcare/Epic environment.
Thick skin, high empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills; you must be able to take feedback well and gently correct provider behavior.
Willingness to travel regionally to conduct on-site visits and workflow shadowing.
A proactive mindset focused on sustainability—you don't just teach it; you ensure it becomes a habit.
