The Coordinator Crew Scheduling is in charge of making sure that crew schedules are well-managed and optimized so that operations run smoothly, rules are followed, and workers can work together without any problems. This job requires responding to schedule changes in real time, communicating well with crew members, and working with operations and HR teams to meet staffing needs.
Main Duties:
Make, keep, and change crew schedules based on operational needs, crew availability, and rules set by the government.
Keep an eye on changes that happen in real time, like delays and absences, and make schedule changes that work.
Work with crew members, dispatch, and HR to keep track of who is available, what their assignments are, and who is covering shifts.
Make sure that you follow all safety rules, labour laws, and union agreements.
Keep accurate records of schedules and make reports on performance and use.
Work with teams from different departments to predict staffing needs and help with workforce planning projects.
Requirements:
You need a high school diploma or the equivalent. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
2+ years of experience in scheduling, coordinating crews, or managing a workforce, preferably in transportation, logistics, or aviation.
Ability to use scheduling and workforce management tools well.
Good at organising, analysing, and talking to people.
Ability to work well under pressure, change with the needs of the job, and handle many tasks at once.
Pay per hour:
Between $30 to $45 per hour.
