Job Title: Food Runner Department: F&B

Job Summary:
The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining area. This role will be responsible for coordinating with kitchen and service staff to facilitate efficient order fulfillment and maintain high standards of service. The primary duties include delivering food to guests with attention to detail, ensuring orders are complete and correctly presented, and addressing any special requests or issues.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Check orders before delivery to ensure that they are complete, accurately prepared, and properly presented.
- Verify that all items, including garnishes and condiments, are included with the order.
- Communicate with guests to confirm their order and address any immediate needs or special requests.
- Provide excellent customer service by being friendly and professional in all interactions.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering additional items, or addressing guest needs as requested.
- Ensure that the food runner station and service areas are kept clean and organized.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Skill in managing time effectively to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to quickly and accurately deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area, especially during busy periods.
- Strong verbal communication skills to interact clearly with guests, kitchen staff, and servers.

- Capability to address guest requests, provide information, and handle minor complaints effectively.
- Careful attention to dietary restrictions, special requests, and correct table placement.
Requirements:
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking around the Club campus.
*In addition to afore mentioned details, a food runner must act in a professional, respectful and fair manner at all times. This should be directed towards members, guests and all club staff. If disciplinary action must be taken, the food runner must act in the best interest of the club and membership. Judgement should be taken in moments of urgency but follow up should occur with direct managers as soon as possible.
*Job Duties are not limited as described above and such duties are required outside of the posted directed by the Director of Food and Beverage, Food and Beverage Managers, Operations Manager and/or Director of Clubhouse Relations.
