Position Summary:
Position parts and operate x-ray and AOI equipment for inspection of PCB assemblies and components. Analyze product quality and/or failures, recommend corrective and preventive action.
Knowledge, Skill Sets, Education, Experience
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate a computer and basic software at a proficient level.
- Excellent spatial awareness and ability to compare drawing/image to physical/actual.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to use small hand tools and comparators.
- 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing field or related area.
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours and extra hours as required.
Desired:
- Electronics experience.
- Experience using industrial X-ray equipment.
- 1 year experience in non-destructive testing within a hi-tech manufacturing environment.
Basic Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect PCB Components according to the BOM, and assembly documentation..
- Segregate and report the rejected PCBs properly identified that do not fulfill the established levels of acceptance.
- Report all part errors, discrepancies and questions into the database..
- Identify, label, and report all jobs with missing parts and other errors as an on “Hold” status as properly identified
- Position PCB assemblies and components for inspection process and operate inspection equipment safely and efficiently..
- Analyze quality and/or failure; recommend corrective and preventive action in response to customer complaints.
- Complete all records of inspection including findings reports and rejection reports as applicable accurately and timely.
- Interface with other sources; i.e., functional areas, and source personnel for acceptance of hardware at required inspection points.
Hours: 6:30am-2:30pm
Compensation: $20.00-$22.00 DOE
