The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. This includes making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and bathrooms, and ensuring all amenities are properly stocked and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean 10-15 hotel guest rooms according to hotel standards, including:
• At least one year of Hotel Houskeeper experience.
• Making beds and changing linens
• Dusting and vacuuming
• Cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors)
• Replenishing towels, toiletries, and other amenities
• Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, coffee, tea, etc.
• Check and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Ensure all rooms are presented to a high standard before guest check-in
• Handle guest belongings with care and report any lost and found items
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or complaints
• Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as needed (e.g., carpet shampooing, window washing)

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: Previous hotel housekeeping experience is a must.
• Some English, Chinese, or Spanish
• Skills:
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic English communication skills (verbal/written)
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally more
