Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a School Psychologist in Shelbyville, IN, supporting a school environment from Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, through May 21, 2026. This role involves onsite work within multiple school buildings, requiring close collaboration with staff and families to address student needs effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting approximately 70 special education evaluations annually
- Providing psychological support across three school buildings
- Reporting to the district supervisor and participating in monthly team meetings
- Collaborating with educators and families to support individualized student goals
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid license to practice School Psychology in Indiana
- Expertise in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determinations
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and compliance requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
