Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and robotics.
  • Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and robotic systems for manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues with automated equipment and control systems to minimize downtime.
  • Optimize existing automation processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality, and reduce operational costs.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including electrical schematics, control narratives, and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, IT) to integrate new automation solutions and improve existing ones.
  • Ensure all automation solutions comply with relevant safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and data acquisition systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize complex automation systems.
  • Strong understanding of robotics, vision systems, and industrial safety standards.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms and data analytics for manufacturing optimization.
  • Proficiency in advanced robotics programming and vision system integration.
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for Operational Technology (OT) environments.
