Job DescriptionWarehouse Worker
Shift: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $19/hr
Location: Tarentum, PA
Contract: 6 months, potential to hire; benefits available
Position SummaryThe Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory, and order processing. Responsibilities include unloading and bundling telecom cable, operating a forklift, organizing and labeling product, completing documentation, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety. Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive inbound materials: unload trucks, sort and bundle cable, weigh and record product.
- Ship orders: pull product from storage, stage/load trucks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through counts and documentation.
- Follow work instructions, schedules, and safety/security protocols.
- Safeguard equipment and cable; report non-compliance issues.
- Assist with general warehouse organization.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Forklift experience (must pass internal test).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
- Ability to follow instructions and escalate issues appropriately.
- Heavy machinery experience or apprenticeship is a plus.
Required PPESlip-resistant safety shoes, disposable coveralls, mask, gloves, and safety vest.
