The AP Clerk plays a crucial role in managing accounts payable functions by processing invoices and payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial records. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this position requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong attention to detail to support effective financial operations with minimal travel required. Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy
- Manage payment processing and vendor transactions
- Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile accounts and track expenses
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Generate regular reports for management review
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in accounts payable and invoice processing
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
