Job Title: QA Associate, Clinical Studies
Location: San Diego, CA (7330 Carroll Rd)
Duration: Temp to Hire - 3 months
Pay Range: $33/hr (W2)

Job Description
We are seeking a QA Associate, Clinical Studies to join our team onsite in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have experience in GMP/clinical supplies quality assurance, batch record review, and materials inspection and a proven ability to ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, GxP, and MHRA guidelines while supporting efficient packaging and labeling operations.
Work Schedule & Details:
- Onsite. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Start/End Dates: 6/15/2026 - 9/19/2026.
- Tax Work Location: US-CA-San Diego-7330 Carroll Rd.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming materials for GMP production and control status within the quality system.
- Support primary and secondary packaging floor activities, including equipment and room approval, facility compliance, audits, label inspection, and line clearance.
- Review production batch records, logbooks, and associated documentation for completeness and compliance.
- Verify just-in-time labeling activities and documentation accuracy.
- Issue, scan, file, and archive controlled documents per procedures and GDP.
- Revise SOPs, work instructions, and forms within the assigned area as needed.
- Assist with efficiency and continuous improvement projects with guidance from senior staff.
- Ensure products are manufactured, packaged, and tested per FDA guidelines, GxP regulations, and internal SOPs.
- Participate in quality programs, procedures, and controls to meet standards and agency expectations.
- Support timely and compliant data gathering, deviations, and investigations.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices and cGMPs at all times.
- Engage with internal and external clients in a professional and timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Working knowledge of FDA, cGMP, GxP, MHRA, and Good Documentation Practices.
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions and apply procedures to routine and non-routine problems.
- Experience with incoming material inspection and status control within a quality system.
- Mathematical and scientific reasoning with skill in identifying aberrant data and escalating quality concerns.
- Effective written and verbal communication with peers, managers, and customers.
- Organized, able to multitask, manage time, and work under deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Six Sigma or ASQ certification.
- Experience supporting clinical supplies packaging and labeling in a GMP environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, reach above shoulder and below waist, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl during an 8-hour day.
- Lift up to 40 pounds; use of respirator may be required.
- Adequate vision for document reading, visual inspection, and computer use.
