Position Title: Inventory Manager
Location: Tukwila and Lynnwood, WA (must be willing to travel between Tukwila and Lynnwood offices as needed)
Reports To: Operations Manager
Salary Range: $75,000 - $125,000 annually
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Summary:
The Inventory Manager is a vital role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management across our operational warehouses. This position involves collaborating with various departments, including Sales, Install, and Service, to develop efficient systems for tracking and ordering inventory, thereby minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory. The Inventory Manager will analyze sales data to forecast inventory needs, ensure accurate product receipt and invoicing, and maintain strong relationships with vendors. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and overall business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales, Install, Service, and Water Heater Managers to develop effective inventory tracking and ordering systems to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse team to confirm the arrival of orders and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Manage the receipt of products into the inventory system and process associated vendor invoices.
- Analyze historical sales data to forecast future sales and adjust target inventory levels accordingly.
- Conduct regular warehouse assessments to evaluate stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring clear communication regarding inventory status.
- Work closely with the sales team to keep them informed about stock availability and trends.
- Place orders with vendors based on parts, special requests, and sales trends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.
