About the Role

CFS North America is looking for a highly organized, hands-on Regional Controller to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance – North America, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations while helping build scalable accounting processes that support a growing business.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of accounting and the opportunity to improve processes, solve problems, and partner with leaders across the organization. You'll work closely with Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and our global teams to provide meaningful financial insight and support sound business decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and reporting packages.
  • Oversee core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax, fixed assets, and customer billing.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, intercompany accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare cash reporting and support liquidity forecasting and working capital planning.
  • Coordinate external audits, tax reporting, banking requests, and compliance activities.
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial processes that support business growth.
  • Partner with the Director of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support payroll, benefits funding, insurance renewals, workers' compensation audits, and SAP initiatives in partnership with Human Resources and global finance teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance financial reporting across the organization.


What You Bring

Must have the working knowledge of the following:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • A hands-on, team-first approach—you aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and do what's needed to help the team succeed.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing or a similar industry.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller-level role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Minimum three years of SAP ERP experience required.
