We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. The Bank Teller isresponsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Responsible for the overall branch customer experience assisting clients by making deposits and withdrawals, cashing checks, performing transfers, issuing bank checks, performing cash advances, processing loan advances and loan payments, cashing savings bonds and any other customer transaction as needed.
- Assists customer inquiries and requests regarding current accounts.
- Responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and recognizing cross sales opportunities. Educate customers on alternative channels that provide service.
Required qualifications for the position include :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Work-related experience should consist of an in-depth background in Bank Secrecy Act compliance and general banking skills.
- 2+ years of retail banking experience in the financial services industry.
Preferred qualifications for the position include :
- 2 plus years of recent banking experience
- Intermediate math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio, and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
Pay Rate: $21.29 an hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
