Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized occupational therapy services within K-12 schools in the Citrus Heights area, focusing on supporting students with moderate to severe needs. This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to student development through both hands-on and consultative approaches in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services and consultative support to students across multiple school sites.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings to collaborate on student progress and goals.
• Manage a caseload involving moderate to severe student needs, demonstrating effective therapeutic intervention strategies.
• Coordinate services itinerantly across El Dorado Hills and Rescue, CA school sites, ensuring consistency and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within California schools, familiar with state regulations and educational environments.
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy practices suitable for school settings.
• Ability to manage an itinerant caseload efficiently across multiple locations.
• Commitment to providing onsite services; candidates requiring remote or hybrid arrangements will not be considered.

• This position is based onsite in Citrus Heights and surrounding areas within El Dorado County.
• Temporary full-time contract role covering maternity leave through May.
