  • Project Planning & Scheduling - Develop, manage, and track project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.

  • Budget & Cost Control - Prepare and monitor budgets, review financial reports, and control project costs.
  • \n

  • Client Relations - Act as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • \n

  • Team & Subcontractor Management - Oversee internal teams and subcontractors, assigning tasks, managing performance, and ensuring accountability.
  • \n

  • Contract Administration - Negotiate, review, and manage contracts, change orders, and RFIs.
  • \n

  • Quality & Safety Oversight - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • \n

  • Problem-Solving - Identify risks or issues and proactively develop solutions to keep the project on track.
  • \n

A Successful Project Manager | K-12 Construction | Houston TX\n

  • 5-10+ years of commercial construction experience, with at least 3+ years in a PM role.
  • \n

  • Proven track record managing ground-up and/or large-scale renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • \n

  • Sector experience aligned with the company's pipeline (e.g., K-12, healthcare, higher ed, municipal, tilt-wall, industrial, mixed-use).
  • \n

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • \n

  • Proficient in industry tools like Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, P6/MS Project.
  • \n

  • Strong scheduling knowledge-able to coordinate with supers and schedulers to keep jobs on track.
  • \n

  • Deep understanding of safety standards and ability to reinforce company safety culture.
  • \n

  • Proven ability to lead project teams (supers, engineers, subs, and owners).
  • \n
