Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist opportunity is available in Elk River, MN, offering a contract position within a dynamic educational setting. This role focuses on supporting students academic performance, emotional well-being, and behavioral development through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results to guide educational planning
- Developing and implementing evidence-based interventions to support students' needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to create effective strategies for student success
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to special education eligibility decisions
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Minnesota
- Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments
- Strong knowledge of interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and families
