We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused EKG Technician who will also take the lead on scheduling select hospital-based procedures for our physicians. This is a dual-role opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in both clinical and administrative settings.
Key Responsibilities:
EKG Technician Duties

Perform standard and stress electrocardiograms (EKGs), Holter monitor placements, and event monitors

Prepare patients for testing and explain procedures clearly and professionally

Maintain equipment and ensure accurate test results

Record and input data into patient medical records and assist physicians as needed
Hospital Scheduling Coordinator Duties

Coordinate and schedule outpatient and inpatient hospital procedures for some physicians

Liaise with hospital departments, ensuring proper documentation and patient instructions are communicated

Confirm patient eligibility and pre-authorization when needed

Follow up on procedure dates, time changes, and physician availability

Serve as a point of contact for patients regarding hospital logistics
Qualifications:

Prior experience in cardiology or outpatient cardiac testing highly preferred

Experience with medical scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHRs)

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable interacting with patients, hospital staff, and physicians
