Summary
Fairy Tales Child Care Development Center is a childcare facility licensed by the State of CT and are looking to add staff to our team!Experience is preferred but in-classroom training is available.If this sounds like you, please connect with us so we can set up a time to chat where I can answer any further questions!

- Care for little ones (ages 6 weeks–5 years old) – meeting their daily needs with feeding, diapering, toilet training, and lots of love.
- Bring learning to life – create and follow a fun daily curriculum that supports sensory play, gross and fine motor skills, early science and math, building activities, and more.
- Keep a steady routine – follow a consistent daily schedule that helps children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
- Foster positive behavior – use classroom management strategies that encourage kindness, cooperation, and confidence.
Requirements
Position Details
- Full-Time Staff: Work four 10-hour days each week, with one weekday off. Enjoy nights and weekends off!
- Hours: Shifts are typically 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. or 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., depending on the position.

Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check with fingerprints.
- A physical exam with TB test upon hire.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to complete required hours of professional development.
Nice To Haves
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
- A current background check – if you don’t already have one, we’ll guide you through the process.
- First Aid CPR certification – always a plus, and we can help you obtain it if needed.
- Completion of the CCEI course through CCAC – especially helpful since we accept Care 4 Kids funding for families, but we can also assist you in getting this training.
- Previous experience in a licensed child care center with knowledge of OEC licensing regulations and requirements.
