Job DescriptionBrake Press Operator: Rockford, IllinoisOur customer in Rockford, Illinois, is looking for dedicated individuals to join their team. We’re hiring full-time Brake Press Operators for 1st shift. In this role, you’ll operate and monitor brake press machinery to shape and bend metal components, producing high-quality parts while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities of the Brake Press Operator:
- Set up and operate brake press machinery following work orders and specifications.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure precise bending and forming of metal parts.
- Inspect finished components for quality and compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to supervisors.
- Assist with handling materials, including loading and unloading metal sheets.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance as needed.
Brake Press Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic measurements.
- Previous experience with brake press or metal fabrication is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies.
Pay for Brake Press Operator: $17/hour Brake Press Operator Benefits:
