Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to work on an Ortho/Trauma Unit, requiring at least one year of recent hospital experience and a valid OK or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Ortho/Trauma Unit of an acute care hospital
- Day shifts are required
- Med/Surg and SD experience required
- Treats a variety of patients with health issues ranging from simple to complex
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Duties include administering medications, monitoring patients, documenting interventions, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and collaborating on care plans
- Patient and family education regarding care plans and hospital procedures is expected
- 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
- Assignment involves working within a multidisciplinary team environment
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active RN license in Oklahoma or a valid compact state (eNLC)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one year of recent nursing experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
