Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Serve as the senior financial leader for the restaurant group, reporting directly to ownership
  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with growth and profitability goals
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning
  • Analyze unit-level and consolidated performance across all locations and concepts
  • Monitor and optimize key metrics including revenue growth, prime cost, cash flow, and EBITDA

Accounting, Controls & Compliance

  • Oversee accounting, reporting, and internal controls across all entities
  • Ensure accurate, timely financial statements and GAAP compliance
  • Manage relationships with external CPAs, tax advisors, lenders, and auditors
  • Oversee payroll, AP/AR, and cash management processes

Growth, Capital & Expansion

  • Build financial models for new store openings, remodels, and expansion opportunities
  • Support capital planning, financing strategies, and investor relations
  • Evaluate ROI on initiatives including labor models, pricing changes, and menu development
  • Support M&A, partnerships, or asset transactions as applicable

Operational Partnership

  • Partner closely with COO, operations leadership, and culinary teams
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights for General Managers and field leadership
  • Support cost controls, pricing strategy, and margin improvement initiatives

Systems & Scalability

  • Lead financial systems strategy including POS, inventory, accounting, payroll, and reporting tools
  • Build scalable infrastructure to support multi-unit growth
  • Establish dashboards and reporting frameworks for ownership and leadership teams

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor the finance and accounting organization
  • Establish clear accountability, processes, and performance standards


Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience
  • Significant experience in restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit retail businesses
  • Proven track record of financial leadership in growth-oriented organizations
  • Strong understanding of restaurant economics, unit-level P&Ls, and prime cost drivers
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills

Preferred

  • CPA, CFA, or MBA
  • Experience working with investors, lenders, or private equity
  • Experience supporting new market expansion or multi-concept portfolios
  • Familiarity with systems such as Toast, MarginsEdge, ADP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar
