Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Electrician to join our team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical systems in residential homes while delivering a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, professional demeanor, and a passion for safety and quality workmanship.

Job Duties:

• Safe completion of electrical service calls
• Light remodels
• Build and execute accurate repair estimates
• Educate customers on electrical/generator parts and products when necessary
• Perform routine maintenance
• Train junior team members
• Participate actively in all training exercises and meetings
• Various tasks assigned by all managers and subject to change based on company needs
• Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues, including outlets, switches, breakers, panels, and lighting
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
• Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and provide solutions and estimates as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service requests

Requirements:

• 5+ years electrical experience
• Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs, work outdoors, crawl in small spaces, and climb ladders on a regular basis
• All candidates are subject to pre-employment drug screenings and background checks
• All applicants shall, unless otherwise described in the job requirements, possess a valid driver's license and shall demonstrate safe driving practice by submitting a recent DMV Safe Driving Record
