Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of ED experience, including pediatric exposure, and travel nursing background. Candidates must hold a current active New York RN license and maintain certifications in AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records is required. Valid driver's license matching demographics and a comprehensive skills checklist are necessary upon submission.

Working in a 64-bed Emergency Department, you will care for a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. The unit includes 2 triage beds, 40 acute care beds, trauma bays, and specialty areas like psych and clinical decision units. Responsibilities include managing specialty equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun devices and administering critical drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation agents, TNK, heparin, and insulin. Charge nurse experience is highly preferred, and floating to other departments may be required. The dress code includes navy blue scrubs.
