Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing specialized speech-language pathology support in a high school setting, this contract position offers an opportunity to deliver essential services to students on a part-time basis. The assignment focuses on supporting a high school caseload within the K-12 public school environment, ensuring students receive targeted speech and language interventions during a maternal leave period.
Location & Schedule:
- Position based in the Portland area, Oregon, with the exact high school location to be determined.
- Part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.
- Contract duration from February 19, 2026, through May 14, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for high school students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student performance.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Oregon state license issued by the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings preferred, ideally with high school-aged students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
