Location: Leesburg, VA 20176
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Assignment Length: 19 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 40
Pay Rate: $40–$45/hr

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Special Education Teacher – Long-Term Substitute (ID/MD) for an exciting job in Leesburg, VA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with existing lesson plans and IEP goals

• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior supports

• Provide individual, small-group, and inclusive instruction

• Monitor and document student progress

• Collaborate with school staff and related service providers

• Maintain compliance with IDEA and school policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Active or eligible Virginia Special Education license preferred

• Experience working with students with disabilities

• Strong classroom management, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred

• Prior long-term substitute or special education experience

• Experience supporting students with varied disabilities
