Position Overview
901 Therapy is launching a pediatric therapy clinic that will set a new standard for inclusive, neurodivergent‐friendly care—and we’re looking for a compassionate, skilled Occupational Therapist to help us build something truly exceptional for the children and families in our community. This part‐time, flexible‐hours role is perfect for a clinician eager to bring creativity, patience, and expertise to help children build essential life skills while shaping a clinic from the ground up.
The ideal candidate has experience working with children, preferably with a background in neurodivergence (e.g., autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences), and is energized by the chance to create something lasting, meaningful, and innovative alongside a collaborative team.
Note: Our office is located in Collierville, TN and will require a commute or relocation!
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide individualized occupational therapy services to children in a supportive and engaging environment.
-
Assess children’s developmental needs, create tailored treatment plans, and monitor progress.
-
Utilize evidence-based practices to support fine motor, sensory, self-care, and social skills.
-
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educators to promote skill-building beyond sessions.
-
Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports in compliance with standards.
-
Maintain a positive, encouraging, and child-centered therapeutic environment.
Qualifications:
-
Master’s Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
-
Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Tennessee.
-
Experience working with pediatric populations required.
-
Background or interest in supporting neurodivergent children strongly preferred.
-
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
-
Compassionate, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children and families.
Schedule & Benefits:
- Part-time role with flexible scheduling.
- 50% discount on open play sessions for immediate family members.
- Collaborative, family-friendly team environment.
- Opportunity to help shape a growing, innovative pediatric clinic.
- Mentorship in neurodivergent-affirming therapy, with potential for continuing education support.
We are seeking candidates who are either trained in neurodivergent‐affirming therapeutic approaches or are eager to be mentored in them. We do not utilize compliance‐based models, and our focus is on strengths‐based, respectful, and individualized care.
