Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist position is available in Billings, Montana, offering the opportunity to support students' educational and emotional well-being in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Assist with crisis intervention and develop preventive programs to promote a positive school climate
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Travel as required to support multiple school locations within the district
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience administering psychological and educational assessments
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage complex cases and maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to travel between school sites as needed
